In recent years, a troubling trend has emerged — a loneliness epidemic that shows no signs of abating.

Despite being more connected than ever before through technology, we find ourselves grappling with unprecedented levels of mental health issues.

Anxiety, depression, and feelings of isolation have reached alarming rates, begging the question: why are we so lonely?

Part of the answer, I think, lies in how we have shifted our social interactions.

We, as people, seem to have lost track of what real social relationships are like. Platforms like TikTok and X have become the new rule for social engagement, while face-to-face interactions have become the exception.

Scrolling through feeds and watching short videos have replaced meaningful conversations and genuine human connection.

The allure of the digital space is undeniable. It offers convenience, instant gratification, and the illusion of companionship. But this digital reality comes at a severe cost to our health.

Human beings are inherently social creatures, wired to thrive on physical interaction and emotional connection.
